Kajabi editor basics
### Sections
Open the Sections tab to view the complete page stack. Click a section to edit it, or use its drag handle to change the page order. Select Add Section to open the custom Openfield section library.

*Choose any Openfield section from Kajabi’s Add Section panel.*
### Blocks
Every custom content area uses native Kajabi blocks. Open a section, click an existing block, or use Add [Block Name] to create another item. Blocks can be edited and reordered without touching Liquid, HTML, CSS, or JavaScript.

*Native blocks keep text, media and links editable from the Kajabi sidebar.*
Typical setting groups include:
- Content
- Media
- Buttons & links
- Style
- Behavior
- Popup
- Pricing cards & buttons
- Background & colors
- Desktop layout
- Mobile layout
### Add a section
- 1Click Add Section beneath the current section stack.
- 2Choose the required Openfield layout.
- 3Open the new section and add its content blocks.
- 4Drag the section into the desired position.
- 5Configure content, media, colors, and spacing.
- 6Preview desktop, tablet, and mobile before saving.
Global four-color design system
Open Settings → Style Guide and select Openfield four-color palette.
| Color token | Recommended use |
| Openfield blue | Primary buttons, important surfaces, navigation, and emphasis |
| Openfield gold | Eyebrows, highlights, active states, and supporting accents |
| Openfield background | Main page canvas and large light sections |
| Openfield surface | Cards, panels, subtle contrast, and secondary backgrounds |
Choose Individual section colors when a section needs a deliberate one-off treatment. If a section does not follow the global palette, open its Background & colors group and check for an override.

*Global Openfield palette controls keep the complete page visually consistent.*
Typography controls
The Style Guide includes separate controls for:
- Body font family, weight, and line height
- Heading font family, weight, and line height
- Heading, body, secondary, and placeholder colors
- Desktop h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6, and body sizes
- Mobile h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6, and body sizes

*Choose body and heading font families from the global Style Guide.*

*Set h1–h6 and body sizes independently for desktop and mobile.*
Recommended starting scale:
| Type | Desktop | Mobile |
| h1 | 64–72px | 42–48px |
| h2 | 42–56px | 32–36px |
| h3 | 28–36px | 24–28px |
| Body | 16–18px | 16px |
Display and script fonts usually need smaller headings than a modern sans-serif. Always check line breaks at every device size.
Margin, padding, and responsive visibility
Every custom section includes standard Desktop layout and Mobile layout controls.
- Inside spacing controls section padding on the top, right, bottom, and left.
- Outside spacing controls section margin on the top, right, bottom, and left.
- Hide section can disable a section on desktop or mobile independently.
Start with the defaults and add spacing only where the page rhythm needs it. Avoid excessive left/right mobile padding because it can make cards and buttons too narrow.

*Every custom section includes practical margin, padding and device visibility controls.*

### Header — Nav Link blocks
Controls the logo, navigation, primary CTA, sticky behavior, colors, and responsive mobile menu. Add one Nav Link block for each destination. Useful page anchors include #method, #experience, #stories, and #offer.
### LP 01 — Announcement
Use Announcement Item blocks for availability, launches, application deadlines, or a lead magnet. Edit the message, link label, URL, colors, and responsive spacing.
### LP 02 — Editorial Hero
Hero Slide blocks create the cinematic opening carousel. Each slide has its own image, eyebrow, heading, body copy, CTA label, URL, and content alignment. Section behavior controls autoplay, transition interval, arrows, dots, pause button, and swipe.
For the strongest conversion story, use three slides:
- 1Identify the visitor.
- 2Name the desired transformation.
- 3Invite one clear next step.
### LP 03 — Trust Signal
Metric blocks create a compact credibility strip for coaching format, duration, client count, results, or another concise proof point.
### LP 04 — Problem Statement
Problem Note blocks name the audience's current tension beneath a bold editorial statement. Keep each card focused on one recognizable problem.
### LP 05 — Brand Promise
Method Slide blocks combine positioning copy, two CTAs, and a right-side image slider with floating signal labels. Use consistent photography so transitions feel intentional.
### LP 06 — Three-Part Method
Method Card blocks explain the signature process through three numbered cards. Keep titles short and descriptions practical.
### LP 07 — Coaching Path
Spine Item blocks create the outcome → method → rhythm → decision sequence. This section makes the offer structure easy to understand.
### LP 08 — Outcomes Bento Grid
Focus Card blocks power a Netflix-style horizontal coaching library. Visitors can use arrows, a trackpad, or swipe. Add enough cards for the content to exceed the viewport; navigation is intentionally inactive when there is nothing to scroll.
### LP 09 — Six-Week Program
Experience Step blocks create a linked accordion. Opening a step updates the supporting image and progress label. Use a visibly different image for each step.
### LP 10 — Experience Included
Inclusion blocks create a concise checklist of sessions, resources, support, templates, and deliverables. Keep each item benefit-led and scannable.
### LP 11 — Testimonial Slider
Story blocks contain a quote, client name, and role. The slider includes previous/next controls and story progress. Use authentic, specific testimonials.
### LP 12 — About the Coach
Credential blocks support the coach biography and portrait. Three to five concise credentials usually provide enough trust without overwhelming the visitor.
### LP 13 — Coaching Principles
Value Card blocks explain the philosophy of the coaching relationship through numbered principles.
### LP 14 — Offer Card
Pricing Plan blocks create three flexible offers. Each plan includes a badge, title, description, price, feature list, CTA label, CTA URL, button colors, and optional featured state.
The section includes independent groups for Pricing cards & buttons, Popup, Background & colors, Desktop layout, and Mobile layout.

*Pricing plans, button colors, URLs and popup behavior are editable in LP 14.*
### LP 15 — FAQ and Final CTA
FAQ Item blocks create the accordion. The split layout also includes a support card and final CTA. Answer real buying questions about fit, format, timing, payment, cancellation, and support.
### Footer — Footer Link and Social Link blocks
The footer includes a final CTA, logo, tagline, navigation links, social links, copyright, Terms, Privacy, and an option to show or hide Powered by Kajabi.
Configure pricing buttons and the popup
Open LP 14 — Offer Card.
### Use a direct URL
Paste a complete Kajabi landing-page, form, checkout, or offer URL into the Pricing Plan button URL. The visitor will go directly to that destination.
### Use the internal popup
Enable the section popup and use #of-clarity-popup as the button URL. Configure the popup heading, body, button, colors, and destination inside the Popup group.
### Disable the popup
Turn the popup off and give each button a real URL. Direct links continue to work when the popup is disabled.
Callout: Never publish production CTAs with empty URLs or demo-only anchors. Test every button as a logged-out visitor.
Recommended page anchors
| Anchor | Destination | Typical use |
#method | Brand Promise / method area | Header navigation and hero CTA |
#experience | Program and experience area | Hero and method CTAs |
#stories | Testimonial area | Header/footer navigation |
#offer | Pricing section | Announcement and supporting CTAs |
#of-clarity-popup | Internal clarity-call modal | Pricing, header, and footer CTAs |
Production launch checklist
- Replace the demo logo and favicon.
- Set the four brand colors.
- Choose heading and body fonts.
- Set h1–h6 and body sizes for desktop and mobile.
- Replace every demo image and add meaningful alternative text.
- Replace all demo copy, testimonials, coach details, pricing, and FAQs.
- Connect every header, footer, pricing, and support URL.
- Connect Terms, Privacy, and social links.

Troubleshooting
### A section is missing
Open Desktop layout and Mobile layout. Confirm Hide section is disabled for the device you are viewing.
### A button does nothing
Check the block URL. Use a complete https:// URL, a valid page anchor, or #of-clarity-popup when the popup is enabled.
### One section ignores the global colors
Open Background & colors and remove or change the individual section override.
### Heading sizes look wrong
Open Settings → Style Guide and set h1–h6 separately for desktop and mobile.
### Slider arrows do not move
Add at least two blocks and test the section in Preview. A single slide or a rail that fits entirely inside the viewport has nothing to advance.
### Mobile spacing feels crowded
Reduce left/right inside spacing in Mobile layout, then recheck headings, cards, and buttons.
